My coaching career spanned 55 years. the first 35 were spent in the USA mostly at the high school level. My teams won three State Championships, the first at Lakeridge High School in 1987. The second at Mc Nary High School in 1997 and the third also at Mc Nary in 2001. i also coached for one year at Oregon State U. and another one in the USFL with the Portland Breakers. And, i spent six years at my college Alma Matre Lewis & Clark College. My coach at LC and i were the only two coaches in the school football history to finish with a winning record. Coach Huston and me are also the only two coaches in Oregon history to win State Titles at two different high Schools. The last twenty years of my career i did dual coaching stints. During the fall i coached in Oregon and during the spring and summer in Europe. i finished my career in 2020.
